The Canadian government has just announced some of the boldest mortgage reforms in decades, aimed at making homeownership more accessible.
Starting December 15, 2024, first-time homebuyers and those purchasing new builds can now opt for a 30-year mortgage loan, backed by CMHC! Plus, the price cap for these mortgages has been raised to $1.5 million. This means more flexibility and opportunities for homebuyers and realtors alike!
