The team at the Georgian Triangle Humane Society is proud to host the After 5 event on Thursday April 18th. Please drop by our animal shelter at 549 Tenth Line for a tour of the facility and the opportunity to learn about latest programs and initiatives in the community. NEW this year is the brand-new opening of our GTHS Animal Hospital! The GTHS is also proud to have launched the GTHS Pet Retention program and continue their work with the Norther Dog initiative. This will all be discussed and shared at the event.

Please don’t forget to bring your business card that will be entered in our draw to win a puppy (OPPS….we mean a lovely gift basket).

The Georgian Triangle Humane Society helps homeless cats and dogs providing them with a second chance at a forever home. The charity is run by a volunteer Board of Directors, a dedicated team of seven full time staff members and over 300 active volunteers that are the heartbeat of the organization. The shelter helps over a thousand abandoned, neglected, abused and homeless cats and dogs annually providing them with the love, care and medical attention they require while waiting to be adopted.

Open seven days a week, the shelter  receives over 12,000 visitors annually with a following of over 10,000 supporters on social media platforms like Facebook. In addition to their adoption programs, the society offers community tours and presentations, dog obedience classes, spay/neuter assistance programs and educational programs both in the classrooms, after school and at the shelter.

Our free monthly After 5 events are open to all members and their one time guest who has not been previously to an After 5, they are a great way to meet and connect with people in the Collingwood area! You will make valuable business connections, that are sure to grow into great friendships as well!
