Move to Give

On June 8th, 2024, we are excited to announce our signature Move to Give event is a School Bus Pull! 6 communities across Simcoe and Muskoka will be participating, inviting teams of 10 to showcase their strength and team work. Through this event, we are hoping to raise $100,000 to support our communities. In Collingwood, the School Bus Pull is being held at Home Hardware at 104 High Street from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

For the past 10 years, Move to Give has been a celebration of movement and activity for a good cause; supporting financial assistance so thousands of people of all ages receive the supports they need to live a healthy lifestyle. Support for fitness and health endeavours, support for employment, support for working parents and child development, and creating safe spaces for people of all ages to connect and belong is what the Y is all about and what Move to Give raises funds for.

Challenge your friends, family, teammates, or co-workers to participate. You don’t want to miss out on this fun and engaging outdoor event! We’ll be moving rain or shine, as long as it’s safe to do so. The first 500 registrants will receive a 10th anniversary Move to Give t-shirt. There are more incentives to participate.

Steak Dinner & Dance at the GNE Fairgrounds

Steak Dinner followed by dancing to the 50's & 60's with the live band "A Touch of Vinyl". $50 per person, Cocktails at 6p.m. Dinner at 7:00p.m. with Silent Auction & Draws all evening.
