Thursday, October 15, 2020 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Location: 549 Tenth Line
On Thursday, October 15th, the GTHS will share what it has looked like to navigate the current times as a local animal welfare charity. Like many organizations, working through the COVID-19 pandemic has been a whirlwind.
Highlights for the organization include: launching a Virtual Adoptions program, feeding hungry pets in the community through the new Pet Pantry delivery service, opening the GTHS Animal Hospital to provide spay and neuter services to financially limited pet owners and launching a variety of online programs such as the Treasure Tails store and Pet Sitter’s Certification Course. Charitable efforts are currently focused on their Pet Support Services program, helping families to keep their pets during times of crisis – when they most definitely need them most.
COVID-19 times have been challenging for most of us so lets get together on zoom and spend a little time cathing up!
