Climate change is an ever-present and growing threat, yet it has become almost a taboo topic in everyday conversations. Too often, mentioning it results in uncomfortable silence or heated debate. Many of us are concerned about climate change but feel isolated and unable to discuss it openly, even with those closest to us. Conversations on this subject tend to be brief—often lasting less than 10 minutes.
It can be even more distressing when friends and family, our primary sources of support, are reluctant to engage in these discussions, sometimes leading to friction and misunderstanding.
This workshop aims to help you navigate these challenges. You will learn the concepts of content and process, practice empathic listening, and explore creative ways to respond to ambivalence and resistance. Our goal is to shift from simply sharing information to fostering deeper connections, understanding defensiveness, and building meaningful dialogue.
Workshop Features:
Small, interactive group sessions (up to 16 people)
A safe and respectful space for open conversation
Co-facilitated by experienced moderators
Resource materials and follow-up support
Join us to learn how to create more meaningful conversations about climate change in a supportive environment.
